  2. Water or Coke?

Water or Coke? WATER #1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (Likely applies to half the world population) #2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is mistaken for hunger. #3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as 3%.

  3. GM push picks up pace.

Health warnings? If they were concerned with that, why then are Monosodium Glutamate, Aspartame, Fluoride etc approved for use? Why is soya, which contains an estrogen mimicking compound, in absolutely everything? As far as the reduced portions are concerned, can anyone give me the odds on them...

  7. The "Hung Drawn and Quartered: Pub, London, U.K

The "Hung Drawn and Quartered: Pub, London, U.K! I was just surfing travel guides when I came across this interesting establishment in London. Interesting name for an Establishment during these unsure times with our economies around the World. It looks like a former Red Cross building to me,...

  10. Whiskey, a subject near and dear to my liver.

Who here drinks the real stuff? Favorite Brands? In what concoction? And so forth. My favorite has to be Jim Beam Rye Whiskey, has that nice bitterness of rye that goes oh so well with Ginger Ale. Next is Jim Beam Bourbon which I like either straight, in Ginger Ale or with club soda and...

  16. New flavour crisps

If you've seen the ads you'll know what Walkers are offering a load of money(£50,000/€64,000) to come up with a new flavour for their crisps. Just think about what you love stuffing your face with and suggest it as a new flavour. If it's good enough they'll make it and you'll get a nice cash boost....

  19. The Jameson's vs. The Bushmills

Is this still, in Ireland and/or Northern Ireland, a Catholic-Protestant thing? My hard-core "Irish Catholic" American acquaintances won't touch Bushmills because it's "Protestant whiskey." Is it still that way back on the island? I prefer Bushmills, personally.
