Hes gotta go after that disgrace.
Losing 5-2 to those "superpowers" of world soccer, Cyprus is unnacceptable.
Andy O Brien,Kilbane and a few others should exit with him.

It's not all Staunton's fault, although he should never have being given th job, it's the shit team he has, how many thousand a week are they on at their clubs.

Staunton should never have had the job in the first place. Before I'd sack him I'd sack every single one of the big dicks in the FAI who had anything to do with his appointment. The entire squad should be dropped. Play the U-20 squad, at least they'd play with a bit of heart.

With what players? It's not Staunton's fault that the talent has dried up.

Yep. I can't think of any manager that would be able to do anything with our current crop. I think it will be at least 6 years before we're involved in a major tournament again, but we've got some handy youngsters coming through so I can see us having a decent enough team by then.

It's Staunton, not the players. Ireland could be compared to Rangers FC; they have a more than talented roster, but ineffective management. With players like Robbie Keane, John O'Shea, Steve Finnan, Damien Duff, Shay Given, etc., there's no excuse for the current results. With a better coach, I'm sure we'll see a comeback.
