It was doomed to failure from the start.
At the time no one was interested in 'Nationalist politics' outside of the 'goings on' in the 'six counties'.
There were no headlines "screaming racism" as would be the case today, given that there was only a tiny minority of immigrants here at the time(and i'm not sure, they would have opposed them if the numbers equaled todays influx)
They simply vanished due to apathy, and very little promotion.
